The president of Somalia has today travelled to Sudan to take part in an official opening of a water project and to market the 57th anniversary since they gained indipendance

The delegates led by the president himself was warmly welcome in Blue Nile where the function was being held

At the Damaaziin airport the president was welcomed by his counter part Omar Hassan al Bashir where they where scheduled to held a meeting to discuss issues of both countries

The president of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mahmud is scheduled to travel to the capital Khartoum to meet the Somali community representatives

It is the first time the president is traveling to Sudan since elected the president
