Banadir Provincial Administration in conjunction with AMISOM have undertaken this exercise in which at least 15 youth were equipped with fire extinguishing and containment skills.

This is expected to boost the capability of the fire fighting department in Mogadishu and its environs.

AMISOM Commander, Andre Gutti and Mogadishu Mayor who attended the event expressed delight in the new progress made.

The fire fighters will be available to tackle any fire that engulfs business premises, homes or any other location.
